The 1910 suite of glassware was in production from 1910 until
about 1965. Although introduced in 1910, the design is based around a 1909 Registered
design No 549518. An example of the original design is shown in the salad bowl
below. It was this type of bowl which formed the basis of the original design
application.

The distinguishing feature of the 1910 suit is the ribs rising
from the base which end in a toothed decorative band which runs around the
outside of the article and flows into the ribs. This feature is hidden in many of the flower bowls as
the rim is turned down.
The 1910 suite was made in the full range of glassware - salts,
creams, sugars, salad bowls, plates, celeries and flower sets. Only the flower
sets and a few odd pieces were made in Cloud Glass. The most
common types found today are the 1910BD, 1910MD and 1910D flower sets. The
flower sets were not introduced by Davidson until about 1925.

the few pieces of the 1910 suite, other than flower sets, which was made in
Cloud Glass. The only known Cloud Colour for the celery is Amber, but it
is likely that it was also made in both Purple and Blue Cloud Glass. The
celery was not made in any Cloud Glass colour after about 1931.

This two piece set consists of a concave shaped bowl with a
dome flower block which fills the internal space of the bowl. The 1910G
has a 5 inch flower dome, and the 1910MG a 3 inch dome.

(?) Description: This two piece set is the most
common form of the 1910 suite of glassware. It consists of a 9 inch
diameter bowl with a turned over rim and a 4 inch dome flower block. Like
most examples with a turned over rim, the signature decorative band is not
visible.

1933 Description: This is perhaps one of
the rarest of the 1910 pattern flower sets. The large flared rim
makes this small bowl appear very much bigger. The mould from which is was
made is similar in size to the 1910BD. The bowl comes with a 4" dome
flower block.
